Abstract
Annotated transcription and translation of the financial account for the collection of the Crown's exactions of prisage and butlerage on wine imported into Bristol in the year 1509-10. The transcription is preceded by a 5,400-word introduction, explaining the nature of the duties and how they were implemented and collected. This is an output of The Cabot Project (2009-).
