Abstract

Article provides a brief outlook to the Rotterdam Rules' treatment of carrier's liability for delay and concentrates on notice requirements in the event of delay, offering a critical analysis of article 23.4 in comparison with its equivalents under other transport conventions such as CMR, Hamburg Rules or Warsaw/Montreal Conventions.
