Abstract
This is the first full-length book to review and cogitate upon the discipline of Deaf Studies itself.
The book is internationally recognised and I am the only author selected from the UK. The other chapter authors are almost all leaders in their various fields of Deaf Studies.
My chapter was selected to be the leading chapter of the book - Chapter 1 in a section of 3 chapters entitled Framing Deaf Studies.
