Abstract
Timely submission of coursework is a key part of the student learning journey.
Clear guidance is needed to support students in the submission process, but if provided in extensive narratives, the messaging can get lost.
Timelines can help to communicate processes by arranging events in chronological order, e.g. flowcharts, GANTT charts [1].
Using support strategies which include visual cues can be useful for students with specific learning difficulties and may help to make educational approaches more inclusive by design [2].
