Abstract

NOVELTY - An input query and related queries derived related to the query by query editor, are executed. The sets of information relevant to the input and related queries, are retrieved. The identified sets of information are analyzed to determine relationship between the queries and to update a concept dictionary (140) by deriving the new knowledge. USE - For generating concept dictionary for use in information retrieval apparatus (claimed) for querying information system. ADVANTAGE - The new knowledge about the user's choice of queries, is captured effectively. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) method of accessing sets of information; and (2) information retrieval apparatus.
