Abstract

To understand how researchers can best consider equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) when assessing studies within a systematic review. Two EDI checklists were used (PROGRESS-PLUS and EqIA) in an NIHR funded systematic review of heart failure studies.

This methodological study is registered as a SWAR (No.16) on the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) registry and funded by Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund via the Elizabeth Black Institute (Bristol) Research for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in Health and Biomedicine.
