Abstract

'Conversations with Fathers' is a project at the University of Bristol aiming to create a space for the conversations about fatherhood that it might be difficult to have, as well as showcase and celebrate what is great about fatherhood.

Matt, a father involved in the project, talked to us about his experience of depressive illness and how it affected him as a father and as a partner. This is an edited transcript of that conversation.
