Abstract
This chapter outlines the history of corporate liability in England and Wales, comments on the different attribution models applied to different offences, and analyses recent statutory corporate offences such as that in the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 and the Bribery Act 2010. Corporate liability has spread from common law jurisdictions as a result of the OECD and other transnational efforts to harmonise anti corruption laws.
