CSPIC - a Low-power Microcontroller

David May

Research output: Working paper

Abstract

This is a proposal for an architecture for a very low cost, low power microcontroller - CSPIC. It is intended for use in mobile and wearable applications, especially in interfacing sensors and actuators to mobile processing and communications systems. CSPIC is designed to execute standard high level programming languages. Extensions and libraries allow direct programming of interprocessor communications and input-output without the need for assembly language programming.
