Abstract

CuCo granular nanowires down to 10 nm in diameter and up to 60 μm long have been electrodeposited inside the voids in polycarbonate and aluminium-oxide membranes. As-prepared nanowires exhibit isotropic giant magnetoresistance effect that is increased by annealing.
