Abstract
A feedforward-based architecture for the linearisation of downconversion mixers is introduced that exploits the signals which are generated within the mixer and emerge from the LO port at the IF frequency, as the error signal. The scheme employs only a single mixer, and hence overcomes the complexity of other mixer linearisation schemes
