"Entrepreneurial Opportunities"

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingEntry for encyclopedia/dictionary

Abstract

Entrepreneurial opportunities are best understood as unactualized possibilities grounded in sociohistorical conditions, not as pre-existing entities to be discovered or created. The actualization perspective refines and augments related Kirznerian and Knightian insights, explaining how environmental affordances shape which imaginable futures can, in principle, be realized through creative entrepreneurial work.
