Abstract
Two new members of the family of switched mode converters employing tapped inductors are identified. The input to output voltage ratio for buck, boost and buck-boost converters with all possible tapping arrangements are analysed in terms of the tap position and switch duty cycle. Practical test results for the new converters are presented.
