Abstract
The report explores the integration of food-related activities into the well-being objectives of public bodies in
Wales, focusing on their alignment with activities on the ground. The establishment of cross-sector local food
partnerships has been a notable development, fostering collaboration and public participation in shaping food
strategies. Despite progress, challenges such as limited resources, capacity constraints, and a lack of national
vision for Welsh food systems remain limiting factors in further advancing sustainable food systems in Wales.
