Abstract

We are all, already, game designers, having discovered the world through play.
Game jams activate this latent potential and have the capacity to become ideas laboratories. The ‘Game jams as method’ resource on this page offers a series of approaches and advice for how you can run your own game jam to explore pressing real world challenges.

This resource offers advice for anyone interested in using game jams as a method to tackle complex real world problems.
