Gattegno: Teaching and Learning Mathematics

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference Contribution (Conference Proceeding)

Abstract

This double session focused partly on the work of a recently completed NCETM group focusing on the 'economy of teaching mathematics'. The final report of this project is on a Google Group and participants were given access to this group. The main focus, as always, was on working together to make mathematics visible and tangible, unknotting the difficulties of the subject. We began with the question, 'How do you plan?'
