Abstract
This Handbook presents, for the first time, the collective 'state of the art' and migration data practices of 16 UN Agencies. In the light of the Sustainable Development Goals and related policy needs for data, it assesses progress that has been made in implementing global standards and guidelines. Each Chapter identifies good practice and makes recommendations for future improvements in the relevant policy area. It provides practical guidance to policymakers and practitioners on the measurement of international migration and its impact on development.
