The end of life is a celebration: it's the beginning of a new life. There may be a second chance on earth but there is certainly no end to one's soul. Goodbye Father represents the chief mourner, the first son of the deceased, giving his father's body back to nature, on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. This is an important day of celebration in Nepal. In Hindu tradition, the dead are cremated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River.
