Abstract
Sole editorship of a major title in Halsbury's Laws of England is a significant mark of distinction. The work involved a significant amount of writing as the work was updated, and all of the responsibility (since the assistant editors were not experts in the field) as well as the usual editing duties such as reordering of material. See also Volumes 27(2) and 27(3) as this work is in two and a half volumes.
