Abstract
The combined analogue locked-loop universal modulator (CALLUM) is a power-efficient, linear transmitter. The optimal CALLUM1 system requires the calculation of nonlinear functions of system variables by a DSP. Such a system has been constructed and results in response to π/4-DQPSK modulation are given
