A volume containing 16 chapters, including a chapter of my own on the theme of the narod (common people) in Russian thought (pp. 241-62), my brief biographical details of 55 Russian thinkers (pp. 380-402), a bibliography of c. 500 titles (pp. 403-25) and various preliminaries (pp. xv-xix) and a co-authored foreword (pp. vii-x) and introductory chapter (pp. 3-16).
