Improving care proceedings: Can the PLO resolve the problem of delay Pt 2

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle (Academic Journal)peer-review

Abstract

A critical examination of the Public Law Outline (PLO), the new approach to care proceedings in the courts in the light of the findings about court practice in the Care Profiling Study (MoJ, 2008). The article concludes that evidence of practice in applications made in 2004 suggests that many courts will struggle to improve the handling of cases through changes in allocation practice or more effective case management.
