Abstract

As a consequence of the earlier tour of IOPS through 6 cathedrals and Bath Abbey in 2008, I was invited to stage the exhibition at several other locations - including Southwell Minster UK, Vasteras Cathedral, Sweden, St James Cavalier Center for the Arts Malta. This exhibition took place at the inaugural event of the Fabricca del Vappore in Milan (I have good relations with AICE, InVideo, Techne and Studio Azzurro there). I made a presentation to the Mayor of Milan and assembled dignitaries. Attendance at events such as this brings new audiences to digital installations and information presented with the installation reveals the research enquiry and core research questions, plus credits Arts Council, AHRC and University of Bristol as sponsors of the event. During the period of the exhibition around 1500 took part in the work.
