Abstract

As a consequence of the earlier tour of IOPS through 6 cathedrals and Bath Abbey in 2008, I was invited to stage the exhibition at several other locations - including Southwell Minster UK, Vasteras Cathedral, Sweden, St James Cavalier Center for the Arts Malta, the Fabricca del Vappore in Milan, the Academy of Fine Art in Xi’an, China and the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York. Around 300,000 people have engaged with this work. Attendance at events such as this brings new audiences to digital installations and information presented with the installation reveals the research enquiry and core research questions, plus credits Arts Council, AHRC and University of Bristol as sponsors of the event. This was a small exhibition in Bath. Around 300 local people came to this small event during it's weekend run as part of the Bath Arts Week.
