Abstract

For indoor and small cell urban environments the multipath activity is contained within a relatively short time window. Polarisation diversity offers additional diversity gain from independently fading signals, especially in channels where the system bandwidth is comparable with the channel coherence bandwidth, and hence limits the available frequency diversity
