Abstract
Introduction to Bioethics… is a text book providing a comprehensive but concise coverage of the broad field of bioethics, dealing with scientific, medical social religious, political and international concerns. It is based on ethical theory, and guides the reader to apply that thinking to issues and dilemmas relating to the environment, plant and animal species and to humans. Ethical analysis through each chapter is a feature, and mini-case studies place the ethical issues into specific contexts. The book has received favourable reviews and has been taken up by students across the UK and internationally. Its content was refereed by three experts in specific bioethical fields. The authors contributed equally to writing the chapters.
