Liberalismo y romanticismo: La reconstrucción del sujeto histórico

Research output: Book/ReportAuthored book

Abstract

This book considers literature and thought in Spain at the time that the liberal state was consolidated (1834-48). It argues that, rather than a form of false consciousness or essentialism, the idea of an individual and collective subject involved a complex engagement with the problem of reconstructing both persons and society.
