Abstract
Planar integration of high efficiency absorbers with good tolerance to work at high temperatures is required to fuel alternative solar energy technologies as thermionic energy converters. In this work, we study large area nano/micro-patterned absorbers based on lossy metals as nickel and molybdenum. We will analized their optical response and their potential integration in a compact planar device.
