Abstract

Mesenteric ischaemia is an uncommon but potentially life-threatening
condition encompassing a range of pathology and symptoms. This article
considers the spectrum of acute mesenteric ischaemia, venous infarction,
acute colonic ischaemia, chronic mesenteric ischaemia and ischaemic
colitis.
