Abstract
This invention describes a needle like Raman probe which is for example, suitable for subcutaneous diagnostics for the detection of diseased tissue or for the identification of tissue type. This probe is also be suitable for any industrial applications where Raman spectroscopy may be used for analysis in confined or inaccessible places or in hostile environments.
