Abstract
This small offering to Filippo Maria Carinci illustrates a few passages from Marcel Proust’s famous work, À la recherche du temps perdu, which refer to Minoan- Mycenaean archaeological discoveries and material culture, and offers an opportunity to reflect on the interactions of memory, history, mythology, literature, and archaeology.
