Abstract

The effect of a noisy carrier reference on MPSK trellis coded modulation (TCM) systems is studied for both the static and Rayleigh fading environments. Upper bounds for the error probability are presented for each case. Software and hardware simulation results are presented to show the tightness of these bounds
