N-electron multi-configurational spin-coupled wavefunctions for Feshbach resonances

Abstract

It is shown that multi-configurational spin-coupled wavefunctions can be optimized selectively to represent the closed channels of Feshbach resonances in a generalized minimax formulation. The resulting method is then demonstrated for resonances of He and He-.
