Abstract
Organizational values guide members’ selection and evaluation of behaviour. Recent research shows that different forms can occur and be interpreted differently across organizations. Importantly, the way that organizational values are introduced and how they are employed by organization leaders has an impact on members’ willingness to engage with them. Studies that take an insider view suggest that values work is characterised by a dynamic process that continually shapes both content and meaning.
