Abstract
This paper examines the performance of space-time codes cast into a wideband OFDM context. Tarokh (1998) codes in their original form are examined with maximum likelihood detection. In addition, Tarokh codes reformulated in a recursive form are utilised in a parallel concatenated architecture such that iterative decoding is facilitated at the receiver. The performance of each decoding method is compared
