Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the three graves of the pre-Scythian period from the left bank of the Lower Dniester. Burials were sunk into the center of the barrow and overlapped each other. An analysis of the funeral rite was carried out on a wide background of analogical steppe graves from the south of the Eastern Europe. The chronological issues and the hypothesis of the intentionality of such burials are considered. The data of anthropological and radiocarbon analyzes are presented.
