Abstract
This Project Design outlines a programme of a non-invasive archaeological survey designed to identify, record, and map archaeological features and artefact distributions within a series of study areas on Skomer Island.
This project represents both a continuation of previous survey work undertaken on the island and an updated project design establishing a consistent framework for recording. Observations made during earlier surveys, including those undertaken during the 2024 and 2025 field season, will be incorporated into the current dataset where appropriate. Where necessary, previously recorded observations will be revisited and re-recorded using the methods outlined below to ensure consistency of recording across the project.
