Abstract

This Letter to the Editor describes a retrospective chart review and clinical experience of using fully ablative carbon dioxide laser assisted photodynamic therapy to treat basal cell carcinoma and discusses 2 year outcomes. Based on our findings of low recurrence and complication rates as well as good cosmetic outcomes, we suggest that using fully ablative carbon dioxide laser assisted photodynamic therapy may be an effective management option for basal cell carcinomas.
