Abstract

This work presents the eigenvalue-based detection methods of cooperative spectrum in dynamic RF environments. We used a radio frequency system on chip (RFSoC) a wide band RF transceiver from AMD and an RF channel emulator from Keysight. The performance of cooperative spectrum sensing with eigenvalue detection methods is presented in an emulated dynamic RF environment. We also measure the receiver operating characteristic curves (ROC) using eigenvalue methods for all the users. The probability of detection at the fusion centre is measured using variants of eigenvalue detection methods.
