Abstract
This photo novel is a cover version of Ed Ruscha and Mason Williams', Crackers, from 1969. Ruscha’s original book became the script, score, instruction, and inspiration for this new performative bookwork. The final chapter was a participatory performance at the book launch, Arnolfini, spring 2011. This event was documented and is available to view online.
