Abstract

This briefing aims to help those engaged with local energy system transitions. It demonstrates how the different parts of the local energy system are interrelated, and what skills and measures are needed to support emerging smart local energy systems (SLES). This report presents an analysis of three smart local energy (SLE) case studies undertaken within the city of Bristol, the Energy Superhub project in Oxford and ReFLEX project in Orkney.
