We discuss general issues to do with sensor planning and more specific issues pertaining to the Sensor Planning Research Challenge (SPRC) hosted by the University of York and QinetiQ in which a number of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) search for survivors of an earthquake. We also discuss our proposed solution.
