Abstract

This presentation is particularly concerned with investigations into the use of 5 kHz SSB for mobile radio, and encompasses (i) the pilot carrier SSB system being investigated by Philips Research Laboratories, UK; (ii) the tone-above-audio-band system being investigated by Stanford University for the FCC; and (iii) the tone-in-audio-band system being investigated at the University of Bath
