Abstract
Macroparasites whose life-cycle depends upon being passed between several different hosts display a series of key life history stages within each of these hosts. Here, I consider the choices made by both parasite and an intermediate host that govern the transitions between these different life history stages, using a state-dependent dynamic game framework. I demonstrate that the moment-to-moment behaviour of both parasite and host are highly dependent upon both environment and each others' actions.
