The structural damage determination method using genetic algorithm was applied to the damage progress evaluation problem in a rectangular concrete test-piece under repetitive uniaxial loading. Data of natural frequency, AE hypocenter and fracture surface were obtained from the experiment. These data were converted into simple relative frequencies of damage, and were used as partial information of the structural damage determination method. It became possible to sequentially evaluate the decreasing degree of elastic modulus as well as progress of the structural damage.
