Abstract

The increasing demand for a globally oriented and inclusive professional workforce presents both significant opportunities and complex challenges for higher education institutions. Heightened societal expectations surrounding global business education necessitate a rethinking of how business schools can meaningfully contribute to the early stages of professionalisation. The inherently interdisciplinary nature of the business and management field facilitates postgraduate education for learners from a wide range of academic backgrounds. Nevertheless, even within the context of diverse and inclusive curricula, educators often devote insufficient attention to cultivating learners’ awareness of the local versions of professionalism.
