Sustainable degrowth of the agri-food system: An interdisciplinary perspective

Abstract

This contribution investigates theoretical limitations of economic decision makingand the substantive challenges of sustainable agricultural-food systems (ASF) froman interdisciplinary perspective. It aims to re-imagine sustainability solutions that arepotentially limited by narrow disciplinary foundations. We draw on concepts from ecological economics, practice theory and new governance to address two key problems.
