Abstract
The chapter discusses the challenges of teacher and teacher education in the changing world in the Indonesian context. Covid 19 pandemic has forced Indonesian teachers to implement online learning and adjust teaching approaches. This situation reminds teachers and teacher education in Indonesia of the dynamic of education and the teaching profession. Therefore, teachers and teacher education institutions must be adaptive, explorative and innovative in facing those challenges.
