The Transmission of Christianity in Late Antiquity: Mind, Culture and Cognition

Research output: Book/ReportAuthored book

Abstract

This work will use the cognitive science of religion and cognitive linguistics to explore why some Christian doctrines were more successful than others in the fourth century. It will take wide dissemination and transmission across time and space as the marker of success and use ideas about 'fit' with the 'cognitively modern' human mind to help explain this wide dissemination and transmission.
