Abstract

This online survey was published in December 2025 as part of the data collection for a DEFRA UK (https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-for-environment-food-rural-affairs) funded survey into the relationship between Animal Abuse and Domestic Abuse-Related Deaths (Homicide, Suicide and Unexplained Deaths). This study is led by Dr Natasha Mulvihill and Dr Mary Wakeham and runs from July 2025 to July 2027. Findings will be published here: https://research-information.bris.ac.uk/en/projects/the-use-and-abuse-of-animals-in-domestic-abuse-related-homicide-s/
